Hi all and happy Sunday! I am currently recovering from a Tough Mudder I did with a group of friends yesterday. We took on 30 obstacles over a 15km (10 mile) course — lots of mud, lots of water (damn, we got cold).
It was challenging but great fun! Some snaps and thoughts on that further down in my week well spent in 5. The hot shower once I got home was something else…
So right now I’m taking it very easy and it has inspired the topic for today’s reflections.
Welcome to Sunday Reflections
For new subscribers, welcome to our weekly gathering! This is our intimate and friendly space for community and accountability.
How it works
Each Sunday I pose a prompt or question which we discuss (and say hi) in the comments. Topics often cover self-empowerment and personal growth and these weekly check-ins allow us to share our wisdoms and get to know ourselves and the other members of the A Day Well Spent community better.
Feel free to have a browse through previous Sunday Reflections to get an idea of the stuff we talk about, which include monthly New Moon intention setting.
ICYMI
Thursday’s post was something I have been sooo excited to share for a few weeks now, a podcast conversation with lucid dreaming teacher, Buddhist and author Charlie Morley — he helps people wake up in their dreams and harness the power of sleep for psychological growth.
It’s a 42 minute listen of pure 🤯 and available for everyone to enjoy - don’t miss it! You can also find it wherever you usually get your podcasts from, just search for A Day Well Spent with Leyla Kazim.
I am so loving hearing about how much people are getting from the conversation in the comments. I think it would make a great listen for a reflective Sunday:
And this time last week we were talking about the points in our lives that signify, or have signified, new beginnings and fresh starts with incredible insights from the community here, as usual.
As always thank you all for being here and I am so looking forward to today’s chat!
Sunday is for awakening the mind, body and spirit 🧘
