Welcome to Sunday Reflections ☕
For new subscribers, welcome to our twice monthly gathering! This is our intimate and friendly space for community and accountability.
How it works
On two Sundays each month I pose a prompt or question which we discuss (and say hi) in the comments.
Topics tend to cover self-empowerment and personal growth and these check-ins allow us to share our wisdoms and get to know ourselves and the other members of the A Day Well Spent community better.
Feel free to have a browse through previous Sunday Reflections to get an idea of the stuff we talk about.
International Women’s Day with Practical Action
Some of you already know that I am a proud ambassador of Practical Action who help build thriving lives and livelihoods for those living on the front line of climate change.
(who remembers the joyous Substack raffle charity fundraiser I held for them last year that raised over £1700!)
To celebrate this year’s International Women’s Day, I will be hosting a special virtual event on Zoom with Practical Action to demonstrate how they are improving cooking conditions for households around the world.
You’ll learn about some of the gastronomic delights from the countries Practical Action work in, and the lifechanging work they’re doing to improve the lives of millions of women.
We will even see how to make a traditional Nepalese dish and the recipe will be shared too!
It will be fun, it’s free to join and you are all invited :)
