Welcome to Sunday Reflections ☕
For new subscribers, welcome to our twice monthly gathering! This is our intimate and friendly space for community and accountability.
How it works
On two Sundays each month I pose a prompt or question which we discuss (and say hi) in the comments. Topics tend to cover self-empowerment and personal growth and these weekly check-ins allow us to share our wisdoms and get to know ourselves and the other members of the A Day Well Spent community better.
Feel free to have a browse through previous Sunday Reflections to get an idea of the stuff we talk about.
Before we begin
The first A Day Well Spent online meet-up
It’s happening! And I cannot wait to meet you all. I feel like I know so many of you already thanks to your generous engagement with me, my writing and with each other. It’s time to see some faces!
SAVE THE DATE
📅 Saturday 6th April 18:00 - 19:00 GMT
I’ve chosen a time that is hopefully accommodating for Europe through to west coasters in North America. To those east of Europe, this might be too late for you and I’m sorry! I’ll aim to do another.
The meet-up will be via Zoom and I will send out the link a few days before. For now, this is a save the date for your diary. Please could you answer the quick poll at the end of this post too so I can get an idea of potential numbers.
Meet-ups (an in person one coming later in the year!) are exclusively for members. If you would like to join our community, it would be my pleasure to welcome you.
THANK YOU
I am truly overjoyed and humbled to share that the International Women’s Day Substack raffle fundraiser I have been running for two weeks, which ended on Friday 8th March, raised a staggering £1788 for Practical Action!
We are completely overwhelmed by the generosity that has been shown. Both Practical Action and I have a few words to say.
The full list of winners can be seen on the raffle page (scroll down). If you are a ticket holder and are not sure if you have won, please check your tickets.
IMPORTANT FOR WINNERS: In order for funds to be released to Practical Action as quickly as possible, all 55 winners must press the ‘Accept’ button on their winning tickets. If even one person doesn’t do this, we have to wait a whole 21 days before funds are released.Â
Please check the update at the top of this post to find out how prizes are redeemed. Congratulations to all the winners!
New Moon intention setting 🌚
This month’s new moon is today! So a quick note to say, now is a great time to consider and write out your intentions for this new lunar month. I’ll be doing mine this evening before bed.
If you would like to find out what New Moon intention setting is, how to do it and how we do it here on A Day Well Spent, have a read of this post. Feel free to share your intentions in the comments of today’s post for accountability. We got you.
Sunday is for awakening the mind, body and spirit 🧘
Now let’s begin.
