Happy Sunday and happy July friends. And happy 1 month anniversary to A Day Well Spent! 🎉
Yesterday marked a whole month since I launched this newsletter for people seeking pathways to purposeful living, with the very first post.
It was How to slow down the passing of time (the one that got featured on - which was an overwhelming surprise and a pretty big deal so early on).
And I’m celebrating this small but significant anniversary with another first here, a giveaway - details further down.
Here’s this weekend’s voice memo from me:
This is now my 11th post on A Day Well Spent, already! It sounds a lot in just one month, it is a lot. But writing these words for you all is honestly my favourite part of the week.

Here’s the link to Thursday’s piece which was the first ever interview on A Day Well Spent, with cookbook author, food writer and my good friend, Rosie Birkett.
As well as a Note I shared of a quite rare public snap of my husband and I looking our smart selves in good late afternoon light at a wedding this week.
By the way the Notes part of Substack is where I share what I’m up to, thinking, reading - and often eating - in my day-to-day life. It’s the bits in between posts, in just a few words and images.
Substack’s Notes is kind of like Twitter but with much nicer people - I quite like hanging out there, come say hi.
Now let’s begin.
Welcome to the weekly Sunday Reflections, an intimate and friendly space for community and discussion exclusively for the many valued paid subscribers here.
This is where we get to know each other and ourselves better. It is here we share our journeys of self-empowerment and personal growth, and discuss all manner of cool, thought-provoking and sometimes esoteric topics.
